I’m a creative, hands-on person with an entrepreneurial spirit who can’t sit still and loves getting to know people and their stories. I am learning to know myself apart from what I do, what I have and who I am associated with and this blog is about my journey to true joy in the process of these props of life being removed. The world around us tells us many lies, that we can only be happy with more money, possessions, power, marriage, babies, the perfect body, one more pair of Tory Burch shoes and a million other things that are not bad things, but if we live for them will still leave us thirsty for something more. These are my reflections on feebly attempting to cling to God and grow in friendship with him instead. We are promised in him, to receive living water for our thirst, a fountain of joy springing up from within.
